Although I didn't make it abroad this Summer I did manage a lovely weekend in Whitstable. We returned via Margate and the Revealed exhibition at the Turner Contemporary Gallery. Revealed celebrates the opening of the gallery and work inspired by Turner who was a regular visitor to Margate.

I've been commissioned to do an illustration of this old pub in East London for someone that is moving out of it. What a great place to live! I especially love the lettering!

I was doing some research the other day at the Grant Museum of Zoology and spotted this little fella. I think he'd make a great character in a picture book!
